Terms of Service
Important information about our construction services, project agreements, scheduling, site conditions, and use of this website.
Welcome to General Contracting of Virginia. By using this website, requesting project estimates, or scheduling our contracting and building services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Services
General Contracting of Virginia provides professional site services, grading, residential new construction, remodeling, and custom additions. All services are governed by written project agreements and executed by experienced construction professionals. We proudly serve homeowners, builders, and property owners throughout Northern Virginia, including Fairfax, Manassas, Prince William County, Loudoun County, Fauquier County, and surrounding communities.
Estimates and Project Scope
Project pricing is tailored to the specific scope, materials, engineering needs, labor, and design requirements of each project. Initial estimates are provided based on blueprints, site inspections, grading surveys, or client consultations. Final project costs are explicitly defined within our written construction contracts. Pricing may change if underground site conditions, structural issues, or client-initiated change orders differ from the original written scope of work. Payment milestones and deposit requirements are managed per individual client contract.
Cancellations and Scheduling Changes
Because active construction timelines involve material deliveries, equipment rentals, and heavy machinery orchestration, we structure our schedules carefully. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to alter a scheduled site meeting or project phase. Changes made on short notice to active build sites may result in scheduling delays or project mobilization fees.
Service Limitations and Site Conditions
To ensure the safety of our team and the integrity of our craftsmanship, we reserve the right to delay or decline work on properties that present unpermitted structures, severe environmental hazards, or unsafe ground or site conditions. Property owners are responsible for ensuring clear, legal, and authorized access to the job site for our crew and machinery.
Care and Liability
All site preparation, grading, structural work, and remodeling tasks are handled with professional care, safety protocols, and structural code compliance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, General Contracting of Virginia is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Final liability frameworks, warranties, and property line definitions are strictly governed by your specific written project contract.
